Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) is a statutory body established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. The FSSAI has been established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, which is a consolidating statute related to food safety and regulation in India.
AMBIANCE
You can have great food, service and ambience, yet fail due to inconsistencies throughout the concept. This is not to say that ambience needs to be the same throughout the place, only that it must all tie together in some discernible fashion.
FRESH FOOD
Fresh food is food which has not been preserved and has not spoiled yet. For vegetables and fruits, this means that they have been recently harvested and treated properly postharvest; for meat, it has recently been slaughtered and butchered; for fish, it has been recently caught or harvested and kept cold.
TRAINED CHEF
A chef is a trained professional cook and tradesman who is proficient in all aspects of food preparation, often focusing on a particular cuisine. Chefs can receive formal training from an institution, as well as by apprenticing with an experienced chef.
